How do sony ereaders work
From the Sony Reader program, click on the Info button in the top right corner. Sign in at the top right hand corner to your account using your library card number and PIN password. You are ready to borrow eBooks! Search for titles or authors in the search box, or browse by Subjects or Collections. When you find your eBook, click on Borrow to check it out, or Place a Hold to join the wait list if the eBook is out on loan found under the cover image.
From your Loans page, click the Download button next to the book, and choose the eBook format you wish to download for your eReader. Choose to Open the file with the Sony Reader program, from the options that pop-up. Or, select Save from the pop-up box, once the download is complete, select Open with from the pop-up box, and choose to open the file with the Sony Reader program.
On the Sony Reader program on the computer, click on the Reader tab that appears when your Sony Reader is recognized, click on Sync in the top right corner. Three days before your book is due, a Request again link will become available under the cover image of the borrowed book on the Loans page of your account on the ORL eBooks website.
Click on the Request again link to open the form. Confirm your email address and click the Submit. The bookmarks, highlights, handwritten notes or the setting information may be deleted by resetting.
