When is hookahville 2018

I loved them from the first time I listened to them. It was the first one without Mullins. I was in awwww. At that point I was only 21 and was ready to tour when Jerry passed away.

So this brought a very familiar feel to me right away. I just knew I was home. And the family that we've built is the most incredible group of people that are my hand picked family. I'm so lucky to have been a part of it all.

I was already planning on going, I was a huge fan, but it was a bonus to get to play some songs too! Baby wipes are great when there are no showers. Golf carts make everything more fun. Bring extra shorts in case someone important needs to borrow a pair.

I have myself on video saying it several times! And then I said that same thing again at the next one. And the next. Well first, the music. I love live music and every Hookahville featured hookah at their best, most excited, most amped up, most rockin.

Then you add great other supporting bands who are psyched to play to a great crowd. This is why I came here. I had an idea what the scene would be like but I was still shocked by the amount of like minded people all in one place. I felt immediately at home. A place where weird quirks make you lovable and half hazard fun is encouraged. I love the music.

And the people. I met my life long friends there, and continue to met wonderful people every time I go. I feel completely myself and at home in that crowd. I think that his girlfriend had a conflict or something, but he wrote it off as a business expense. It was a total life changing weekend.

He and I started working remotely a week or so later, and I wound up spending the entire festival season on tour. None of these things will serve you until the festival is over.

I come back because of my closest friends and the shared love of all things Ekoostik Hookah. The band, the songs, the jams, the fans, the flow of creativity, the feeling of homecoming, the chances to reconnect with chosen family, the hugs, the memories.

Hookah's been the soundtrack for many of the best days I've known. Oh, and I really need to check out "this crazy guitar guy" one more time. I had always heard about it and how amazing it was. They were not lying:. I had never been surrounded around such nice people with great energy.

Always surround yourself with beautiful people who are positive and listen to good music. If not I would have never met some of the closest friends I have today. They are now family to me and I love them dearly! I also started my relationship there 11 years ago. I mean how cool is it that one band can bring such beautiful people together with their music!

So when my friends starting talking about having a "music gathering" I was down. One day he said "Hey you need to come check out my new band. We went Spring of 95 and have only missed one since then. It felt like a home away from home and when I went to our first Hookahville, I realized quickly that Hookah was a home not an escape from home it's where I go to feel freedom and peace which is what home is defined as to me anyways.

Some people are so sunk into their everyday workaday lives that they forget to be kind and accepting to others they come in contact with. As long as we continue to try our best and spread the love hopefully eventually it will show others that life is short and to appreciate the life and love that we are so lucky to have.

Along with finding a home I found a group of family members so strong and accepting that I feel I belong there, and that I must visit all of the loving people I have met over the years.

Mandi Wildflower What brought you to your first Hookahville? I had been to quite a few shows and some smaller festivals from Ekoostik Hookah as well. I was always blown away every time but everyone I spoke with absolutely raved about Hookahville being something extra special, so naturally I had to be there. They are fixtures in many fine venues across the midwest.

The band has shared the stage with many of today's top touring " jam bands ", as well as stars such as Willie Nelson, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Weir, and Bruce Hornsby. The band's name, pronounced "Acoustic Hookah," was taken from dictionary entries for the two words.

The band endorses a number of charitable causes; among them, Pittsburgh's ongoing BurghSTOCK Concert Series that benefits area non-profits that assist homeless and disabled military veterans. Spring Hookahville is held the weekend before Memorial Day weekend; the end of summer version is held during Labor Day weekend.

In November, , an event was held online due to the COVID pandemic but is not considered the official Hookahville 53 which has been postponed.
