Why is jennifers body rated r

The forum was intelligent, wide-ranging yet focused, and, ultimately, utterly pointless. For here's the only question about this film that really needs to be asked: Is Megan Fox hot in it? Yes, she is. Why, after all, do you think they called the movie "Jennifer's Body"?

To the best of my recollection, there is no nudity in the film or I'm sure I would've remembered it. But the girl-on-girl makeout scene you may have heard about between Fox and co-star Amanda Seyfried "Mamma Mia!

No worries -- Fox's position as the preeminent American sex symbol of the moment remains safe. Mind you, Fox's hottie-ness in no way raises "Jennifer's Body" to the status of a worthwhile film. The picture is junk, basically. It's lazy, thinks it's saying something valuable about female empowerment when in fact it's too clueless to even know what it's saying and, for the record, gets the finer points of demonology all wrong.

Fox's title character is a high school object of desire who knows it don't they all? She's spoiled, witchy, dripping with attitude she's Megan Fox, essentially , so when she's sacrificed to the devil by a dopey indie band only to become inhabited by a demon because she wasn't a virgin, duh the difference in her character is, well, indistinguishable.

What does that say about being a teenager? What parents need to know Parents need to know that while teens will be clamoring to see this darkly funny horror movie -- which stars Transformers ' Megan Fox and was written by Juno 's Diablo Cody -- it's full of gory demonic violence, sex including partial nudity, same-sex kissing, and a pervasive tone of sex as a game, a competition, and even a prelude to murder , constant strong language from "f--k" to "s--t" and more , teen drinking, and more.

Not suitible under the age of Adult Written by lulatula December 13, Adult Written by Shay Williams August 11, All in all it isnt really a good movie for a younger audience but it has a great story and is really original. Its basically a young girl and her best friend go to a bar underage and meet these guys in a band looking for a virgin to sacrifice, what they dont know is that Jennifer megan fox is not a virgin therefor her body is inhabited by a flesh eating demon.

Great for anyone who likes horror and also comedy. Adult Written by joshua martinez July 24, Jennifer's Body is a good movie only for your older teens parents you need to know that Jennifer's Body is filled with a lot of bloody violence and a lot of sex talk and one sex scene shown constant strong language used and teens drink hard liquor and beer, and also characters smoke cigarettes. Older teens and adults only I was surprised by how much I liked this movie.

It was entertaining and unique. It was a good horror movie overall. It is, of course, full of sex and gore though. A lot of the time though, when she's eating boys, you don't watch it, you watch their shadows from the opposite side of the curtain or door.

But you witness her throw up gross looking black gunk, you see the fire, and people on fire, you see a boy ripped open with his guts all over for a few moments, and you see blood on her, and around her after she's commited the deed. It's a little disturbing, but not scary.

The sex parts are much worse, and most likely why it's rated R. You see a large portion of Megan Fox's boobs when she unzippes her jacket To suduce another unknowing victim. You see plenty of kissing and making out.

There is talk about condoms. You see a teenage boy and teenage girl in bed together, naked. You don't see any cleavge on the girl, and you see the bare back of the boy. She tells him to "put it in" and you see him moving rythmically on top of her, and a squeaking sound that you suspect is the condom they discussed. This scene was longer than it sound have been, it lasts for about minutes.

But the girl starts seeing blood and disturbing images on the walls and ceilings and begins to freak out. The boy asks if he's too big, she runs away.

There is plenty of talk about sex and innuendos, and plenty of blood. It was actually a good movie, all things considered. But no kids should see this! Hard core horror fans will be disappointed, adults may enjoy if they're into this kind of movie. No kids, of any age, should see this movie. It's very innapropriate. Language is also a big issue.
